EASTER: TRICKS IN TRADE OR MISCHIEVOUS IN BUSINESS

FALLACIES, FICTION, FACTS AND TRUTH

Fallacies are mistaken beliefs based on unsound arguments. They derive from reasoning that is logically incorrect, therefore undermining the argument’s validity. They are usually associated with fools and the ignorant but learned people use it to deceive.

Fiction is imaginary events and people or something that is made up or untrue. It is a close buddy of Fallacy. Used well, they can make fiction be fact and fallacy be truths.

Now suppose I told you that the 40 days of Lent are symbolically replicating the 40 days that Jesus Christ fasted in the desert YET Lent was being celebrated thousands of years before Jesus Christ was even born. Make sense? FACT, FALLACY OR FICTION? Not only is it fiction but also fallacy. How can something of the past be reflecting something in the future? It must be the other way around, unless its tricks in trade and mischievous in business.

What would you think of me, if I told you that there are 40 days in Lent, between Ash Wednesday and Holy Thursday or Easter Saturday yet when you count you get 44 or 46 days? FICTION? FALLACY? Let’s do the math. This year Lent takes place from Wednesday, February 17, to Thursday, April 1, 2021, while Easter takes place on Sunday, April 4. From February 17 to February 28 are 12 days and March has 31 days. That is already 43 days and Easter is not yet counted. Tricks in trade, mischievous in business? FICTION AND FALLACY.

How about if I told you that in order for Jesus Christ to be the Messiah, he must be dead for three days and three nights yet when you check that Christ died Good Friday afternoon and raised Sunday morning it is only one (1) day and two nights? Something must be wrong? Would you think my Math is poor or that I am a liar or I am trying to trick you or I am just being mischievous, up to no good, or that I am just being sentimental? FALLACY OR FICTION?

It is difficult without make belief to accept Jesus Christ as the true Messiah and still believed that he was dead Friday and raised by Sunday morning when this is not three full days and three full nights. The prophecy of Jonas in the whale’s belly and Jesus Christ himself stated that ONE sure thing about the Messiah is that that person must be dead for three full days. FACT AND TRUTH. Anything else is FALLACY OR FICTION.

The fact is that Jesus Christ was killed or died on a Wednesday evening, just before the ANNUAL SABBATH which occurs every Nisan Fourteen AND which fell on the Thursday that year, in the week when Christ was killed. So he was killed the Wednesday evening (night 1) before the ANNUAL SABBATH and his body had to be taken down to meet the following day, (day 1) which was the ANNUAL SABBATH, a Thursday. The Thursday night is night 2 and the next day would be the Friday (day 2) which is the day of preparation for the SEVENTH DAY SABBATH (Friday evening or night 3) which falls on Saturday (day3) . Christ rose Saturday evening after sunset. which is Sunday as a Jewish day was measured from Sunset to Sunset, not 12 midnight.

(See my Blong on EASTER for details of the death and resurrection of the Messiah).

THE ORIGINS OF THE ORIGINAL LENT/EASTER WORSHIP

Easter Ishtar

To fully appreciate the origins of Lent and Easter we must look back at where it all started. Thousands of years ago, before Jesus Christ, man in his primitive state was very dependent on nature and its predictable yet uncertain behaviour. Being intellectual, man quickly realized that the Sun, Moon, and stars had a far-reaching impact and influence on their harvests, live stocks and even their own personal lives.

Some folks saw it prudent to use this knowledge to increase their financial status and power. Sumer, Mesopotamia was believed to be the cradle for this Trickery and Mischief. The idea was to use FACTS as the building blocks for FICTION to create a FALLACY to pass off lies as TRUTH.

It was simple yet elaborate. Deify nature and worship it. The sun, moon, stars, planet and even time frames were given names and turned into gods and worshipped. According to the original and genuine Easter story, Ashtoreth/Easter (the goddess of fertility) was named and worshiped as the provider and re-starter of all life at Spring (March 20).

She was associated with Venus, the brightest star in the sky. Easter is also believed to be the deification of the infamous Semiramis, the wife of Nimrod, of bible fame. Recall the tower of babel great hunter. We learnt about him at Sunday School and how he was against Jehovah.

Ash Wednesday Tammuz
Tammuz, god of fertility embodying the powers for new life in nature in the spring. (is that a cross?)

Well, according to legend, after his death, Nimrod’s body ascended into the heavens and became the sun god himself.  His rays of light implanted his seed into his wife, Semiramis now a widow, and impregnate her and they had a son called Tammuz , son of the sun god.

Tammuz was responsible for bringing light into the world and to fight darkness. Some customs called him Baal, or Mithra and more recently he is called Jesus Christ, since the Council of Nicea, in AD 320, added Jesus Christ’s name to the pagan gods.

Again, an apple by any other name is still an apple. Click here to See my blog on December 25: the unconquerable son worship

The myth climaxed with the idea that Tammuz, at age 40, went hunting and was killed by a boar (hog, pig..same thing….how fitting). To bring back her son (Tammuz) to life,  an elaborate scheme was devised by Semiramis.

The idea required forty (40) days of mourning for Tammuz (a day for each year of his life). At the end of 40 day mourning, Tammuz returns to life on the Sunday after the first full moon after March 20. Abstinence from meat, and lust was the order of the day for the 40 days of Lent. At the end of Lent, a boar was killed and ham was eaten. Sweet revenge on the pig that killed Tammuz.

Incidentally, 47 days before Easter, Mardi Gras or Fat Tuesday was the day before Lent where people revel in carnal affairs (Carnival) and have sex and promiscuous behaviour prior to the 40 days of penitence.

Lent/Easter was first introduced/accepted into the beliefs of the Catholic Church at the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD. In 601, Pope Gregory moved the beginning of Lent from the fourth Sunday of the year to Ash Wednesday, 46 days before Easter. This changed allowed for 40 days of fasting with six Sundays counted as feast days, for a total of 46 days for Lent. FACT AND FALLACY

The interesting thing about Lent or Ash Wednesday is that it is attached to Easter. Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent, is determined after the date of Easter has been designated. Easter begins on the Friday after the first full moon after the Spring Equinox, which is March 21. By ecclesiastical rules, which fixes the date of the equinox to March 21, the earliest possible date for Easter is March 22 and the latest possible is April 25. FACT AND FALLACY

Ash Wednesday semiramis.tammuz

This is one more proof that Easter has nothing to do with Christ’s death. Consider this. If your grandma died on Friday, March 25, when would you keep up the memorial? March 25, whether it falls on a Friday or not or if the moon is full or not. FACT.

As the myth would have it, Tammuz’s mother, Semiramis died and the gods looked favorably on her as she was the mother of the son of the sun god, Tammuz. She was sent back to earth as the Spring fertility goddess, Ashtoreth/Easter, always shown as a well endowed bare breasted  queen of fertility. According to the myth, she emerged from a giant egg that landed in the Euphrates river at sunrise on the Sunday after the full moon after the Spring Equinox.

THE BIBLE: EASTER WORSHIP IS TRICKERY AND MISCHIEF

Apart from the fact that there are more than 40 days between Ash Wednesday and Easter, and that Lent was an old pagan religious ritual that existed before Christ was born, the truth is that the Old Testament is totally against Easter, Ishtar or Ashtoreth, the pagan goddess of Fertility. Let’s look at a few such verses:

Ishtar of the Accadians and the Astarte of the Greeks ( Jeremiah 44:17 ; 1 Kings 11:5 1 Kings 11:33 ; 2 Kings 23:13 ). There was a temple of this goddess among the Philistines in the time of Saul ( 1 Samuel 31:10 ). Under the name of Ishtar, she was one of the great deities of the Assyrians. The Phoenicians called her Astarte. Solomon introduced the worship of this idol ( 1 Kings 11:33 ). Jezebel’s 400 priests were probably employed in its service ( 1 Kings 18:19 ). It was called the “queen of heaven” ( Jeremiah 44:25 ).

Also, King Solomon, married to foreign wives, “followed Astarte the goddess of the Sidonians” (1 Kings 11:5). Later the cult places to Ashtoreth were destroyed by Josiah. Astarte/Ashtoreth is the Queen of Heaven to whom the Canaanites burned offerings and poured libations (Jeremiah 44).

(Reminder, Jehovah is a very bias, prejudicial and jealous god who hates when ANY other thing is worshipped or given reverence above him. Exodus 20: 3 – 6: You shall have no other gods before Me. 4You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in the heavens above, on the earth below, or in the waters beneath. 5You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on their children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,…6but showing loving devotion to a thousand generations of those who love Me and keep My commandments.

FALLACY CAN DECEIVE THE ELECT, IF WERE POSSIBLE

Since the Good Friday to Easter Sunday resurrection story is not mathematically possible for three full days and three full nights and is fiction, the question is why sell such a story as gospel truth? Simple. it is FALLACY. The profound answer is a continuation of Tricks in trade and Mischievous in business. Power domination and exploitation of the majority.

You see, the system is such that we live in a world where fallacy, fiction, fact, and truth are so blurred it is almost impossible to tell the difference. For example, March 20, the Spring Equinox, (equi is equal and nox is night) is a day consisting of equal hours of sunshine and darkness. It is also the beginning of a time of rejuvenation and rebirth with more plants growing, birds singing and generally fertility rebounds after the harsh cold winter. FACT.

Yet, it is FICTION to believe that there is a goddess of fertility name Ishtar or Easter who is responsible for this renewed fertility and who we should worship at the first Sunday after the full moon after March 20. This year Easter is April 4, because Sunday March 28 is the full moon and the Friday after the full moon is Good Friday.

Emotions and good intentions aside, the truth is that not only is it childish to worship nature or stars and planets whether after full moon or not, it is evil and devilish. To give obeyance to anything that is created is an offence to the CREATOR who by the way is a jealous and prejudicial god who visits the iniquity of them that hate him down to their third and fourth generation. So be careful of whom you give worship or credit as it will affect your great grand kids.

You see, no form of anthropomorphism can change nature and planets into gods or humans, without make belief and a semblance of mania or straight tricks in trade and mischievous in business. FALLACY.

TRICKS IN TRADE AND MISCHIEVOUS IN BUSINESS?

I can recall those tearful eyes at Sunday School when we were so quick and proud to recognize Good Friday and Easter Sunday as Christ’s death and resurrection days. It was with good intentions that we did such acts of passion and it was next to impossible to even have a clue that we were mere victims of tricks in trade and mischievous in business.

It is clear that Easter is an old mystery religion and the crucifixion of Christ was only attached to Easter, 325 years after Christ died. Furthermore, the math and prophecies suggest that a Friday death and Sunday resurrection would not fit in with the “three days and three nights” requirement for the Christ to be dead and then resurrected. (Friday evening to Sunday morning is one day and two nights). Of course, from Ash Wednesday to Good Friday or Easter Sunday is 44 or 46 days, not 40 days as we are being erroneously taught.

The real reason for associating Jesus Christ with Easter is a fallacy that fuse facts and fiction to create a truth that has been used to accomplish selfish ulterior motives. It keeps the status quo in place and fill the coffers of the churches. The older folks in Jamaica call it “Tricks in trade and mischievous in business”.

FALLACY, FICTION, FACT, AND TRUTH.
