I will win some, I'll lose some, and I'll draw some.I give thanks for big, thanks for small, thanks for nothing at all. I have never had a year of only sunshine.Nor have I had a year with rain all the time.I have had cloudy days and poems that don't rhymeYet I look beyond the … Continue reading WIN SOME, LOSE SOME, DRAW SOME

LESSONS OF LIFE. LIFE OF LESSONS
Life has taught me that there is still much to learn, a whole lot. Yes, I am still learning, I am yearning, I am seeking, like a child. Despite my knowledge, what I have is not all that is to be got You see, what is pepper is bland and what is hot is mild.
THE EASTER POEM
So, you may ask, why is Easter, the goddess of fertility associated with Jesus Credit belongs to Constantine the Great Roman emperor for tricking us. In AD 326, about 300 years after Christ died, Constantine at the council of Nicea decided that the best way to rule his Roman empire was to merge Christ and Lucifer
Let us pray for ….
Praying for our daily bread is deemed proper. So is praying for our safety and well being. Praying for victory over our enemies or for the damnation of the oppressors also seem fitting. However, seeking forgiveness for self and for our transgressors become more challenging.
NOT SO, BUT SO
Take a look at life and wonder if it is all hoodwinking.. I mean , all this time, have we really check what we are drinking: while spending our lives hoping for rising when the darn thing is sinking.
WHEN IS A 100% BOTTLE OF JUICE MAINLY FILTERED WATER AND CONCENTRATE?
Caveat emptor (let the buyer beware) is not a thing of the past. Caveat venditor (let the seller beware) is not contemporary. Manufacturers with their advertising plays are making us purchase items we might not otherwise have done if we knew "the fine prints". It should not be rocket science to buy a bottle of 100% juice. Should there be more laws or enforcement of the laws. Does it really matter? Who cares? We have choices? "We can run or we can stay" and of course "Poison but good for you" - #Aneil- Poison 4 Song EP.
IS THE EARTH FLAT OR A SPHERE? IT KEEPS MOVING.
Ancient religions support a flat earth that does not move (geocentric). Opposing beliefs were discouraged by persecution and death. However, Pythagoras and Aristotle along with Copernicus and Galileo used science and empirical evidence to defunct the religious beliefs. Reluctantly, the Church conceded but the damage had already been done.
Caveat Emptor: Let the buyer beware
A growing number of food and drink companies are labeling their products “all natural” or 100% juice in an attempt to attract health-concerned customers in order to improve their bottom line and get in the black. Some do it deliberately to mislead while some are guilty unknowingly. Caveat Emptor unfortunately is not a thing of the past and customers need to be cautious when making purchases. Caveat venditor is some time away and in the mean time we need to remember that "figures don't lie but liars can figure".
Niagara, Oh Niagara Falls (Your passion is wasting me away)
Charles Dickens visited Niagara Falls in 1841. On viewing the Canadian Falls from Table Rock he wrote, "Niagara was at once stamped upon my heart, an Image of Beauty; to remain there, changeless and indelible, until its pulses cease to beat, forever." I did my Christopher Columbus , late discovery but eye opening, of North … Continue reading Niagara, Oh Niagara Falls (Your passion is wasting me away)
Hello world! Heights of great musicians were reached by craft or by chance?
Not many people have had great dreams of smallness. Yet smallness of dreams has had a great many people.
