I can see the big grin on their faces as they benefit from that great “deal”: Buying a dollar item for a dime, is normally not a gift, it came from a steal. And if you said you didn’t know it was stolen, indeed you are lying And whether it’s from a brother or a sister, I can tell you, someone is crying.

PROVERBS AND LIFE: SUCH A PARADOX
I want to share another poem from my archive, written as a youth It’s all about life, and I assure you, it’s not necessarily every body’s truth. Remember that to each his or her own, as one man’s heaven is a next man’s hell Envy not a man’s success, because you never know the things he gave up or even sell. I have seen the wicked growing old and flourishing like a big green bay tree While the righteous dying young and perishing and losing their liberty.
MY BROTHER’S KEEPER
Last week, I saw countless messages of merry Christmas and happy new year. People wishing each other prosperity, success, and lots of good cheer. Yet they didn’t even stop to help a little child, or the poor to wipe away a tear You see, it’s a calendar love affair, cause deep down, very few people really care.
I YOU?
Did you noticed that the grass seems greener on the other side, but when you see the other side's water bill you want to hide.
COLOURED
Why give god a colour? After all, isn't colour one of the major reasons for the hatred, bigotry and prejudice that is helping to destroy the brotherhood of man?
NIAGARA, OH NIAGARA FALLS
Your reach has gone into and beyond my deepest core Whether gladly or sadly, if we stay, we will be no more.
Let us pray for ….
Praying for our daily bread is deemed proper. So is praying for our safety and well being. Praying for victory over our enemies or for the damnation of the oppressors also seem fitting. However, seeking forgiveness for self and for our transgressors become more challenging.
NOT SO, BUT SO
Take a look at life and wonder if it is all hoodwinking.. I mean , all this time, have we really check what we are drinking: while spending our lives hoping for rising when the darn thing is sinking.
THE POET: Struggles of life
Struggles of life and life of struggles are part and parcel of the lives of all races, creeds, peoples and individuals. Here are a few poems on Struggles of life.
THE POET: Slice of life
Is life a race be run and won with the goal, immortality and the winner, loser of all vanity? A line from "The POET: Slice of life" from my 1983 collection of poems (VIEW).
