Birthdays were started to celebrate the birthdays for gods and idols. This was done through astrology . Despite its good intentions, birthday celebrations and worships such as Christmas can be evil. Ancient civilizations used it to to appease and even influence the stars for peaceful life on earth. A kind of star gazing.

Ancient religions support a flat earth that does not move (geocentric). Opposing beliefs were discouraged by persecution and death. However, Pythagoras and Aristotle along with Copernicus and Galileo used science and empirical evidence to defunct the religious beliefs.
